Q- How does the draw for the Minieuro Vrsar look for Spain?

R- No doubt Spain has touched the hardest group with national team of Czech Republic, Greece and Belgium.
Carlos Fernandez evaluates the draw in Vrsar and the chances of our team as he looks forward to the third year in charge

Q- What stands out from the competition?

R- The Czech Republic is a great team, very powerful. They can make changes fives without the level playing in the pitch, and that few teams can take you out. Regarding Greece seems sincerely is the best team that plays minifootball , manage to achieve those results. They are great to watch and if they improve certain facets are favourites. With respect to Belgium, they are unknown. Rookie team can be tough and will have to be attentive to them.

Q- What are yisour memories of the European Greece of 2013?

R- Basically, the team was there “on vacation”. Everything was new, we played as a reward for a good year, and the lack of experience made us to stay out in the first phase by one goal.

Q- So, you earned from the “mistakes” in Montenegro?

A- Yes, we went with another mentality. From the beginning we knew what we wanted to play and how. In addition, field measurements benefited us because they were more like football 7 a side, while in Greece they resembled more to futsal.

Q- How did you feel last year went?

The truth is that the initial victory against the Czech Republic was phenomenal we came to believe in our chances. Tactically we did great, had studied them and everything was superb. Turkey was a tough match because they were defensively very well and at the end we drew. We played with England already qualified and got a good win playing at a good level.

Q You  were drawn with Slovenia in Round 2….

A -The meeting we had it under control, we went ahead and failed to take more chances. However they were clear with a gameplan, which led them to the final, and long journeys on his striker overcame the meeting and beat us. The set pieces are worth much and they executed them to perfection.
Q In Croatia, What options do you have?

Many! We know that playing style, we know how to fight and we will take variants to play in different ways with a group of very good players. The experience we have had these years is key in this quote something.

Q- Is it hard being a coach?

A- Yes, we must know how to be happy all the team and that’s a job that requires a lot of psychology. It must be controlled to detail and it is preferable to have players that do not give problems in the dressing room even very good, because that ultimately will tqke more than it gives.
