With just one month remaining until kick-off, preparations for EMF EURO 2026 are entering their final and most intensive phase.
The European Minifootball Championship will take place from May 27 to June 4, 2026, in Bratislava, bringing together 24 of the best national teams from across Europe.
Final Preparations Underway
Organizers are now focusing on fine-tuning every detail to ensure a smooth and high-quality tournament experience. This includes finalizing logistics, coordinating teams and partners, and completing all operational planning for the event.
At the same time, the venue transformation is approaching completion. The TIPOS Arena—traditionally an ice hockey venue—is being converted into a modern minifootball arena, ready to host top-level international competition.
Teams and Competition Ready
Participating national teams are also entering the final stage of their preparations. Training camps, Nations Games, friendly matches, and squad selections are being finalized as teams aim to arrive in peak condition.
The tournament will feature a total of 24 teams divided into six groups, followed by a knockout stage that will decide the European champion.

As the countdown continues, fan interest is steadily increasing. Ticket sales are ongoing, and organizers expect strong attendance throughout the nine-day tournament.

A Major Sporting Event for Slovakia
EMF EURO 2026 represents one of the biggest sporting events hosted in Slovakia in recent years. The tournament returns to Bratislava, where the very first edition of the European Championship took place in 2010.
