Soccer League has been designated to represent Italian colors to miniEURO Moldova 2012, promoted by European Minifootball Federation (www.minifootball.eu).
Soccer League has been chosen by the Executive Committee of EMF after a rigorous selection between many candidates to this prestigious role: it represents in the range of Italian competitors, the most serious, efficient and reliable organization for the management of amateur football championships (with 5/7/8 players) that are playing in Italy.
EMF includes Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The objectives of EMF shall be to promote the practice of minifootball in Europe for example by educating and training referees and coaches, support of teams, support for minifootball for disabled people or by raising funds and to control the organization of international competitions in Europe, both for national teams and club teams only for amateur players.
EMF contains 600.000 players, 40.000 teams and 21 nations!
The president of the Italian minifootball Association said:
“We feel honored to join this important international organization, offering our contribution in the selection of athletes, managers and coaches: they shall fly to Chisinau for meeting other National teams in this wonderful Amateurs Minifootball European Championship.
The Team that will participate in this event shall be composed by players who were protagonist of Soccer′s League′s National Final phase, played in Pesaro from June 1th to 3th 2012.
