The Irish Minifootball Association is delighted to announce that we have recruited hundreds more affiliated players as the summer progresses.

A number of leagues have signed up to affiliate with the IMA, predominantly in the Waterford, Limerick, Dublin and Galway Areas.

The new players add to the thousands of affiliated players who already play in leagues under our banner – a fact that, according to spokesman Kevin Dempsey is fantastic news: “The fact that minifootball is growing all around Ireland, is great news,” he said. “There has always been many games of small sided soccer played all over the country, both organised and not so structured.

“What there has not been, perhaps, is a cohesive plan to make all these leagues pull in the same direction, and the fact that we are able to bring these hundreds of more players on board into Irish Minifootball Leagues is a huge step in the right direction towards rectifying that.”
