The Czech Republic will be first the European country and only the second country in the world to stage national minifootball league. The league will comprise 8 regional minifootball associations from 8 cities of the Czech Republic.
Czech Minifootball President, Filip Juda said: “In this organisational structure when in each city can be maximum of one team representing the city we are expecting higher potential income for the teams from public or private sector because there will not be second rival team to divide the budget. Also we will reach more spectators if we are speaking only about one team in the city and increasing performance of the teams which is unified to one team in each from 8 cities.”
The last meeting of Association of national league and Executive committee of minifootball association in the Czech Republic before the league starts was held in city of Brno in July 25th 2015. The first game will be on Sunday August 23rd 2015 when Prague will host Brno. The game will be broadcast live by Czech national sport TV called CT Sport from 6PM. Start of the national minifootball league is a part of our marketing plan for miniEURO 2017 which the Czech Republic will host. Thanks to this project we would like increase a visibility of minifootball in the Czech Republic as well as to increase a promotion of miniEURO 2017 and national television is one of the best channels how to reach this target, told Mr Filip Juda the president of Association of the minifootball in the Czech Republic.
The budget for first season is approx. 150 000 EUR. The budget includes 16 new minifootball goals 4 x 2 meters, financial support for each team between 4 000 – 5 000 EUR, marketing, salary for league organization, stadium adjustments and others.
