Prague′s team AKTA-REZ became the champion last week in the Czech Republic in minifootball. In the final of the 17th Championship in minifootball of the Czech republic the champion defeated its rival from the second largest city of Brno which (TRIPOLI) with a 2:1 score. TRIPOLI BRNO won the first halftime 1-0, but the team AKTA-REZ managed in the middle of the second half to score a goal and two minutes before the end to score the winning goal.
Top news of the tournament:
1. AKTA-REZ PRAGUE won Prague′s first title in Czech minifootball history.
2. Most teams in the quarterfinals represented Brno. In total 5 from 8 teams.
3. The coach from Czech national minifootball team, Radek Pokorny finished with his minifootball club which called TRIPOLI BRNO in the final game of Championship. After winning the ninth title in a row in the city of Brno and second place in miniEURO 2011 with Czech national team, is celebrating another success.
Third place went to the home team KVASAR MONTENEGRO, in fourth place finished minifootball club KARLSBERG C. F. BRNO.
This was the last Championship of the Czech Republic, which was played by this system. In the new season the best four teams that emerge from the two qualifying tournaments will compete for the title. The 2013 Championship will be played 19th January 2013 on artificial grass in closed space.
