The Future is Bright For Czech Minifootball

Men’s competitions are commonplace, veteran competitions are played in several regional minifootball Associations in the Czech Republic and in our last news bulletin we told you about the women’s league, this time around, we are going even younger!

The only Association, where competition of junior minifootball is played, is Brno. In the season 2009/2010 established contest called Bambini league of juniors, which contained seven teams.

This league is only open to children under 15. Currently, the junior league contains only teams, but compared to the early days, the skill level and quality of football is very high. While in the beginning it was a purely amateur league, these days it is home to many junior players that play at a high level. In the next season number of teams are expected to increase and perhaps even opening junior league in other regional minifootball Associations in the Czech Republic.

Rules are the same for both men and juniors, the only difference is time that is shorter for junior league. Also number of yellow and red cards is lower. It´s very important for children to grow some sport and minifootball is ideal solution. Moreover, in this category is open to both boys and girls.
