The First Round Of The Lithuanian Championship Is Completed

After three months of tense and exiting footballing battles the first round of championship 2013 which was organized by Minifootball Lyga (MFL), is finished.

The football itself followed a strict format after the first lap split four teams, which have demonstrated some dynamic, smart and eye-catching football. However, FK “Virsuliskes” in the last few games emerged as the team to beat and won the first round.

However, it was another teams star who was of the scorers list, M. Rasinskas (“MSC” team striker) who took scored 26 goals in only nine games.

For the debut MFL championship Adidas “Cafusa” balls were used and some of the best referees from Vilnius took charge of the games. All matches took place in the best stadium in Vilnius specially designed for mini football – in “Fanu”, the perfect small ground!

The second round starts on September 1st.

While the teams went for their summer holidays, and MFL managers are forming a Lithuanian mini football team and getting all their preparations ready for MiniEURO2013.
