MFL Winter championship six a side is already started on 7th of December and here we have 11 teams which are not afraid of cold. Quite capable and highly motivated teams, because since 2014 championship is planning to introduce an innovation – two divisions: A and B. Thus, the results from winter will be very important for the teams ranking. All winter championship match will take place in the small “Fanu“ stadium, which was the main sponsor for Lithuanian mini football team by miniEURO 2013.   It was agreed the games would not take place if it was more than minus 13. There was quite a lot of snow before the first round so groundstaff had lot of work to clean the pitch.

The winter championship will continue until March 2014.
