After three months of playing in the smaller Fanu Stadium (Vilnius, Lithuania), the first amateur Minifootball league tournament has finished!

The tournament line-up included 10 teams. And there were plenty of thrills and spills along the way in an exciting competition!

Firstly, one of the favourites – FC Futbolistai team didn’t even make it into play-off and ended the competition in 5th place. Secondly the autumn tournament winner, FC Perkunas, were defeated after very hard match, extra time and penalties, taking 3rd place and a bronze medal.

But the biggest surprises ultimately were FC Storebrand. The three first matches were not very good for the team, with two defeats and one draw, but Stonebrand, like a mature cognac were showing better and better results in each match! The semi-finals they won against FC Perkunas.

In  the final against FC Megeju Sporto Centras team, which had only one draw match overall and each match was won more than three goals plus. So, perhaps it was a little bit surprising ending, but Stonebrand deserve our congratulations

In the tournament two players – V.Tuinyla (FC Perkunas) and M.Rasinskas (FC Megeju Sporto Centras  scored 26 goals each!

The tournament was organised by Public Organizacion VSI Mini Futbolo Lyga, which managers promised the in near future will connect more and more Lithuania cities.
