On Saturday, June 29th 2013 from 9:00am – 6:00pm the annual Slovak Minifootball Championship will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia (stadium Mlada Garda). The event is organized by the Minifootball Association of Slovakia (SZMF – Slovenský zväz malého futbalu) and will be played under supervision and according to international rules of the European Minifootball Federation.
The Slovak Minifootball Championships 2013 will present ten teams/selections from regional leagues, which are all members of Minifootball Association of Slovakia: Bratislava (BLMF – Bratislavská liga v malom futbale), Petržalka (ESSL – Engerau Street Soccer League), Partizánske (Mestská liga v malom futbale Partizánske), Fiľakovo (Balex liga Fiľakovo), Nové Mesto nad Váhom (Mestská liga v malom futbale Nové Mesto nad Váhom), Vranov nad Topľou (on tournament as Cherry Team), Senec (Futbalová miniliga Senca), Prešov (3b Uličná liga Prešov), Ivánka pri Dunaji (Ivánska minifutbalová liga) a Trenčín (Mestská únia malého futbalu v Trenčíne).
The squad lists as well as the fixtures of the tournament can be found at SZMF website (www.malyfutbal.sk) and each city is represented by regional minifootball league, which nominated their best players for the tournament. The best players of the tournament will be nominated to the Slovak national minifootball team, which will represent Slovakia at European Minifootball Championship next year.
