“We are satisfied with the draw. The Czech team were physically more prepared and they also have fans here. Tomorrow we’ll have a tough match, but if we don’t lose it, we will definitely go to the second stage of the tournament” said Mario Čulina after the game.
Flying Cater-Group drew 3:3 with Imperium EBS lasi in Group F. The other match of the group ended with ECOS’s convincing 4:0 victory over Florgrade / R Star of Portugal.
“It’s a pleasure to be here, everything is high level. We are happy [about the win], and we are looking forward to the next match. We expect to win tomorrow again” said a very optimistic Marin Jukič of ECOS.
In Group C, CB Kuba defeated IKZ Graz 3:1, while in Group B Bolzing FC drew with Deltum Burgas, ending the match with a 3:3 result.
Hungary’s Szigetszentmiklós BE4PRO faced LPF Tolmin, and bagged their first three points of the tournament at the end of a victorious 4:1 match.
“It’s a great experience; I like the atmosphere, great to be here. We really want to win tomorrow to continue. I think we are in a good position, and we would like to be part of the best 16 teams at the end” added Szigetszentmiklós’ Gyula Gergály.
