Minifootball was included, for the second time in history, in the Romanian Football Gala, event which awards the best players and teams of the year. After Razvan Radu & Co. managed to conquer the European title in this sport for the 6th time, in Croatia, the minfootball national team was voted the best team of Romanian football, even though the football national team qualified for EURO 2016 with only two goals against in the qualifying round.
Also, Romania’s captain, Razvan Radu, was awarded “The best minifootball player of the year” trophy.
This is the second time minifootball was included in the Romanian Football Gala. Last year, ex-goalkeeper and captain received the trophy for the best player and Tiberiu Lajos was voted the best coach in this sport.
