It was a beautiful sunny morning in Vrsar, Croácia, with many very interesting matches.
The results so far are:
09:00 – Kazakhtan vs Bosnia & Herzegovina – 1:4
10:00 – Bulgaria vs Servia – 2:2
11:00 – Czech Republic vs Spain – 2:1
12:00 – Poland vs France – 6:0
13:00 – Moldova vs Italy – 1:3
The main match was theone between lhe Czech Republic and Spain, both of which are strong favorites to go to the final of the tournament. In a Group E where there is also Greece and Belgium, every point, every goal will be very important to go through.
The Czech Republic started strongly and scored the first gol on minute 4 (Patrick Levcik – Nr 8). After that Spain got on the offensive and eventually tied up lhe game at minute 14 (Luís Alberto Pelaez – Nr 4). On the second half the Czech Republica claimed a second gol which was not allowed by the refere and that even after seeing the TV footage was not clear if it was a goal or not. But the Czech Republic team didn’t felt that decision and kept on pushing formarduntil they finally scored on minute 38 (Cenek Cenek – Nr 7).
