A brand new Astroturf pitch, which will be hosting United Kingdom Minifootball Association affiliated leagues, received backing from a World Record Breaking backing when it was officially opened earlier this week.
The brand new state-of-the-art facility at Portchester Community College was officially opened by Portsmouth Football Club legend Linvoy Primus, but it was world record holder Dan Magness that really stole the show.
Magness is a world champion ball juggler and holds many world records, having showed his skills off around the globe, and he was able to wow the crowds with his abilities.
UKMA’s Brian Thorn said he is continually amazed by Dan, adding: “I have seen him many times at football events round the country and he truly is the best in the world at what he does.”
Speaking about the facilities at Porchester, Brian said: “It is the best pitch we have ever seen in Portsmouth and we are thrilled with the prospects for the league.”
It kicks off on Monday 22nd October and will be adding other divisions throughout Autumn.
