Czech Republic plays Croatia

Both the Croatia and Czech team’s enjoyed the best possible test before MiniEURO 2013 kicks off as they played a competitive friendly on Saturday.

Ivanić Grad’s beautiful sport centre complex ŠRC Petek that has among minifootball pitch also 4 star hotel, swimming pool and much more, provided the venue and the teams put on a match worthy of the surroundings.

Strong Czech team that ended 3rd in previous miniEURO played in Moldova was a real test for new Croatia team that will participate in October on Crete in a hard group with Slovenia, Poland and title holders Romania. In the same time Czech team also have tough opponents and will face Germany, Russia and Cyprus.

The rain ruined a little bit the event but nevertheless we saw great minifootball match from both sides, tough and strong in both ways. A real ”miniEURO” match and both teams look good and we feel that both are ready to kick off in Crete this October.

Filip Juda EMF vice-president and WMF president watched the match with Bruno Alpeza EMF general secretary, and both were delighted with the skills on show, particularly from man of the match Ivan Rancic.
