15 players attended in the training camp of Poland minifootball national team in Bad Harzburg. 12 of them were selected to Poland’s miniEuro squad.
During the camp, Poland played two friendly matches. First – against Germany – ended with a 0-0 draw, with both sides wasting a lot of goal opportunities. In the second match, Poland defeated TSG Bad Harzburg 2-0 with both goals coming from Jarosław Filiks.
After the victory, Klaudiusz Hirsch named 12 players squad for miniEuro in Greece:
- Goalkeepers: Mateusz Szpiczko (Grajki Pierwsza Klasa Białystok), Daniel Jedynak (Spartan Leśnica Wrocław).
- Defensive players: Kamil Fryszka (Bad Boys Szczecin), Wiktor Żytek (Dzbany Łódź), Oliwier Synkowski (FC Wembley Łódź), Adrian Filipiak (Retkinia Crew Łódź), Cezary Szałek (Bestia Team Police)
- Offensive players: Wojciech Jankowski (Rozbark Bytom), Jarosław Filiks (Bad Boys Szczecin), Igor Świątkiewicz (Retkinia Crew Łódź), Michał Morawski (Głogów Black Crew), Jakub Perek (FC Wembley Łódź)
– It’s always difficult to take this kind of decision. Especially when players are performing so well, like they did here, in Bad Harzburg. All of them showed great football skills, but I had to choose only the „lucky twelve” – commented Hirsch.
