Let′s take a look at the NE part of Slovenia. This part of Slovenia hosts many minifootball leagues and has a great number of fields covered with natural grass – pure minifootball. They are well known across Slovenia for that. And one of the most popular leagues is Ravenska Liga.
The organization of this year′s Ravenska League Finals tournament was entrusted to KMN Mister Baby, as they were last year the highest ranked team that has not participated in a tournament. The tournament was held on the 16th and 17th of June on the minifootball playground of a primary school branch in Gederovci. Teams competed against each other with the use of a double knockout system.
Team Gradisce defended the Cup title after the thrilling final match, which ended only after the penalty shoot-out. The final score against Mladinec was 4:3, while the regular time finished in a 2:2 draw. This is the team′s third Cup title already. Kupsinci finished third and Krog 97 have taken the fourth place, respectively.
Gradisce has taken all the prizes for best individuals. The most effective scorer was Vojko Horvat, who scored eight times. The honors for the best goalkeeper were given to Miran Serec and Vojko Horvat was named the best player of the tournament.

One player from Ravenska liga will participate in Slovenian National Minifootball Team in September′s miniEURO 2012 in Moldova. The player has not been chosen yet but a list of a few names has already been made. Organizers of the League lead by Vice president of the NE Slovenian minifootball federation Simon Detellbach will choose the lucky player till end of the August.
