In September 2015 the Association of Minifootbal in the Czech Republic started to run a premiere year of a nationwide league, in which 8 cities participate (Blansko, Brno, Jihlava, Milovice, Most, Pardubice, Prague and Příbram). Prague is currently in the lead, Brno and Most are losing three points. The National Minifootball League enjoys great popularity and serves as a resource for the management of the Czech national minifootball team, because many members of the squad regularly appear in the matches. Now, when five rounds were played, the management of the league may – at least partly – assess and evaluate the league. Although there is still a lot to do and a lot to improve, the positive responses outweigh over the negative ones. In autumn 2015, the National Minifootball League appeared four times on Czech TV on channel ČT Sport, which is the most watched sports channel in the Czech Republic.
