MASCOT / Sustainability
Online training session for minifootball managers focused on sustainability and green event practices.

The MASCOT online training for minifootball managers focuses on practical sustainability tools, event management and long-term adoption by clubs and federations.

MASCOT has delivered an online training activity for minifootball managers to support the practical adoption of sustainability measures across the sport. The training focused on how managers, clubs and federations can translate project outputs into everyday organisational practice.

The session introduced the sustainability logic of MASCOT, the Race to Sustainability Toolkit and the role of communication in encouraging greener behaviour. Participants were guided through practical examples relevant to event planning, club operations, stakeholder engagement and long-term adoption.

The training was designed for managers and staff who can multiply the project’s results within their own organisations and national networks. By working with this target group, MASCOT strengthens its capacity to move from awareness to implementation.

The activity also supported the project’s dissemination strategy by presenting sustainability as a shared responsibility across the minifootball community. Managers were encouraged to consider how small operational decisions, visible communication and stakeholder cooperation can contribute to more sustainable sport environments.

Training materials, attendance evidence, presentation records and evaluation summaries will form part of the project evidence package. EMF will continue to use the training content in future communication and federation support activities.
