First half day is over

The EMF Euros 2026 are up and running in Bratislava, and we had drama in the opening two matches.
World Cup runners up Hungary lost in the dying seconds, as Poland got their campaign off to a dream start with a late 3-2 victory.

Georgia versus England followed and in a game that lacked quality and chances, English hearts were broken with virtually the last kick of the game, a game in which neither side deserved to win or lose.

The stand out performance from the morning session was without doubt the Czechs, who smashed 5 past a hapless Portugal in a one sided match.

Kazakhstan were comfortable in their 2-0 win over Slovenia, a goal in each half was enough for them to get off to a winning start and to top Group E after round one of matches.

Romania and Spain shared the spoils in their match after the Spanish equalised with 90 seconds to go to ensure they didn’t lose their opener in the Slovakian capital.

Next up are the evening matches, where a huge crowd is expected to greet the hosts, Slovakia, as they look to set the tournament alight with a win against Greece in front of a record Minifootball attendance.
