The European Minifootball Federation (EMF) is delighted to reveal that Israel will be the host country for this year’s miniEURO event.
The most prestigious event in European Minifootball will take place in the beautiful coastal town of Eilat between 23rd-27th November 2014, when countries will battle it out to take the crown from Romania, who have won the championships in 2012 and 2013.
There were a number of countries who expressed a desire to host the championships, but it was agreed that Israel would be given the honour.
An EMF spokesman said he was certain that the right choice had been made and added that: “Everyone is looking forward to the tournament already. The team in Israel will do a fantastic job, and the challenge is on to eclipse even what happened in Crete last year – I am sure they will, and the tournament will be incredible!”
More details of the miniEURO championships will be revealed in the coming weeks, while below there is a reminder of what makes miniEURO so special.
