The Irish National Team’s first training session was a huge success.
As was announced last week, the squad has secured regular training time at the Dublin Indoor Football Centre, and will be undertaking these sessions as they look to build up to this autumns miniEURO2014 competition.
The first one took place last week and, speaking exclusively to the Irish Minifootball Association, Manager Mark O’Sullivan said the experience had been entirely positive.
“Mark fully briefed senior management here on Monday,” confirmed an IMA spokesman, “and he told us just how beneficial it was to them in terms of getting the squad together and making sure everything is right for miniEURO2014.
“The squad is fully focussed on improving – and of course welcoming new players to their ranks after the scouting mission at the Irish Championships – and these Friday nights are superb in that regard.”
The spokesman also said that Mark was full of praise for the Dublin Venue, where they have been meeting. “He couldn’t speak highly enough of them, everything there was first class for the whole team, who are all looking forward to more of the nights.”
If you want to join the squad in time for miniEURO2014, then the only way to do it is to register for the Irish Championships, which can be found at www.ireland6asidechampionships.com
