Three weeks ago “Das Weiße Ballett” found their way into history: After 2008 and 2010 the team in the white colors won the biggest Uni-League in Germany for the third time. There is no other team in Goettingen which had this success before.
Now they want to continue the story. Captain Marc Mueller’s team starts its journey at the miniEURO2012 in Moldova. After three local victories in Goettingen, the national cup in 2009 and the second place at the German Championship in 2012 “Das Weiße Ballett” seems to be predestined to represent Germany. For sure, they are one of the best minifootball teams in the country.
Anyway “Das Weiße Ballett” is deemed to be one of the underdogs at the miniEuro. “We know that especially the teams from Eastern Europe have a lot of good players and more experience in minifootball”, said Mueller. “But our advantage is that we know each other very well, we have been playing together for more than four years”. And of course he points out German mentality: Never give up and fight until the end. Besides: “The whole world knows: Germany is a tournament team – we’ll be better with every game”, Mueller shows some optimism.
The National Team will prepare in the next weeks. In a training camp they want to bring the last details to perfection – for writing a new chapter in the success story of “Das Weiße Ballett”.
