2016 Mini-football Championship was the best in the three years of the Mini-football history in Armenia. “Each time a bit better” and is a principle that is already established as the basis of development of the Mini-football Federation.

Last year the organisers did not pay so much attention to sport but to the fundamental values of development in general, the principles of mutual respect, fair game, as well as the encouragement of the vision of personal and team development were put as the basis for organizing this championship.

The ten registered teams displayed superb organizational and quality parameters. Almost all the teams were distinguished with high quality teamwork and technical excellence. We can highlight especially the game of GAMIX, LEEDS Utd., MALATIA, ASHTARAK KAT, DAVTASHEN and KVARTAL teams, while BYUREX, SPORTING, LIBERTY KNAUF were relatively recently-formed teams and thus they had some issues with teamwork.

A spokesman said: “We can surely say that in Armenia there are over 10 Mini-football teams which are ready to compete and to achieve best results in any local, regional or international championships.”

This years championship was full of many dramatic moments. We also witnessed tough struggles. All the teams had one goal – to become a champion of Armenia Mini-football and thereby to become a part of Mini-football history.

The Association added: “We congratulate all the teams, especially the champion of Armenia Mini-football 2016 GAMIX, as well as the organizing team of the championship and all the supporters.”
