On Saturday 24th January 2015 Milten Hall in Milovice hosted the minifootball Championships of the Czech Republic.
As in the two previous years, teams had to fight for their participation in two qualification tournaments, which took place in Kopřivnice, Prague and Jihlava, then in the second phase in Příbram and Brno. The most successful teams were SOME Vysočina Prachárna, FK Klasici Jihlava, Gamblers Most and AUDI United Praha, when the teams from Jihlava and Prague already competed in a previous final tournament – the one two years ago.
Representatives of Jihlava then ended with the title of vice-champion of the Czech Republic, as they were beaten in the final stages by Brno RKM. AUDI took the bronze medal after beating Everlast Příbram. Four completely different teams participated in last year and therefore it is clear that Prachárna and Gamblers were newcomers in the Final four. But as it turned out, neither of these two teams got to Milovice by chance. The results of all matches, including shots on goal and the yellow and red card sinners:
Semifinal:
SOME Vysočina Prachárna – AUDI United Praha 2:1 (2:1)
Goals: 13. Šuta, 14. Demeter – 26. Alba
Yellow card: 30. Kavka D. – 43. Alba, 49. Hřebeček, 52. Hrechko
FK Klasici Jihlava – Gamblers Most 2:7 (0:3)
Goals: 36. Cech, 53. Vácha – 10. Režný, 12. Dolejška, 25., 35. a 55. Polák, 37. Macháček, 51. Hlaváček
Yellow card: 43. Heide, 60. Grepl – 24. Macko
Bronze medal match:
FK Klasici Jihlava – AUDI United Praha 4:3 (2:1)
Goals: 15. a 39. Göth Jakub, 27. a 60. Göth Jan – 19. Hrechko, 33. Alba, 48. Penc
Yellow card: 25. Göth Jakub – 25. a 56. Hrechko, 36. Alba
Red card: 56. Hrechko
Final:
SOME Vysočina Prachárna – Gamblers Most 1:1 (0:0) – 1:2 na penalty
Goals: 60. + 1. Šuta – 34. Režný
Yellow card: 40. a 60. Dolejška
Red card: 60. Dolejška
The games in the final four offered really dramatic battles that culminated in the finals. It had to be decided after compensation of Jihlava in extra time by penalty kicks. Gamblers Most held their nerve and managed to gain a valuable title of the Czech Champions in minifootball for 2015 from the position of a complete novice. The Minifootball Union of Most became a member of the Association of Minifootball in the Czech Republic only last summer and now Gamblers were able to take full advantage of it.
Another newcomer to the final stage of the tournament – SOME Vysočina Prachárna – certainly deserves appreciation. As it has been already said, these two teams overshadowed their more experienced colleagues who thus played only the match for the bronze. That does not detract the success of Klasici and AUDI, who got among the four best teams in the country.
