A former player of Poland National Minifootball Team, Wiktor Zytek has taken a major step in his regular football career. He has just moved from Lechia Tomaszow Mazowiecki (Polish fourth division) to Slask Wroclaw (T-Mobile Ekstraklasa – Polish Premier League).

His career started in junior teams of ŁKS Łódź, one of the best known clubs in Poland. However, this period finished abruptly, after he had been allegedly seen supporting the other Lodz’s well known club, Widzew.

After that, he has been widely known for his minifootbal performances. He played for several years in Dzbany Lodz, one of the best known Polish minifootball teams. He was called up by Klaudiusz Hirsch to Polish Minifootbal National Team for miniEuro in 2014 and 2015 (top scorer of Poland).

In 2016 his 11-a-side career revived. His performance in the first part of the season 2016/2017 in Polish fourth division, where he made 17 appearances and scored 9 goals playing for Lechia Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Żytek caught the attention of Slask Wroclaw’s scouts. Eventually, he has been signed on loan to one of the best Polish clubs in January 2016.

Although we regret, that his move to professional football puts an end to his minifootball performances, we are also very proud of his career breakthrough. We sincerely hope, that playing for the Poland Minifootball National Team will become an opportunity for young players to become noticed by professional club’s scouts, and some of them will follow Żytek’s steps.
