Two Poland National Minifootball Team players, Jaroslaw Filiks (2 goals in miniEuro in Greece) and Wojciech Jankowski (1 goal) spent last week on tests in Ruch Chorzow (T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, 14 time national champion). Whether they will play for Ruch Chorzow or not, will be decided in a few days.
Wojciech Jankowski and Jaroslaw Filiks were the key players of Poland National Minifootball Team in Greece. In October their goals led our team to quarterfinals of miniEuro 2013. It seems that their good performance in Greece may result in a breakthrough in their football careers.
“It is a great honour to train here, among top Polish footballers in Ruch Chorzow. It’s not an “everyday” opportunity to cooperate with such players, so we are really excited to be here” – says Jarosław Filiks.
Both players never had an opportunity to play in a professional football team. Tests in Ruch Chorzow might be their chance for a serious, professional football career.
“It is a good direction for our scouts” comments one of the Ruch Chorzow’s supporters on a club board.” They are amateur players, sure, but they wear Poland National Team shirts for some reason.”
