The Greek & Cypriot Minifootball Association has already announced its plans for further development of the structures of the sport in the two countries. The new website of the Association will be online in less than 20 days and a network of more than 80 sport facilities will be the new reality in Greece. Something similar is happening in Cyprus too with a target of 12 sport facilities in the 4 biggest cities of the southeastern European island.
In Greece, the N’JOY UNI-League is a state-of-the-art organized national championship that takes place in 10 cities and includes more than 3.500 players. This championship which is extremely popular in the country focuses mostly on ages 18-28 without excluding of course elder players. However, the routes and the origin of the championship are in Universities and students’ societies, so this element is not so easy to abolish. The new network will be implemented in the next 8 months. Big companies are interested in supporting this big attempt and for sure it is a win-win situation for them as a new perfect vehicle is being created and given to them in order to help a lot their commercial activity and their promotional plans. That’s all about the strategic development of the Association.
