Last year, the European minifootball scene reached new milestones. Warsaw hosted the EMF Champions League, while Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, welcomed both the EMF EuroCup and the EMF EuroCup Masters. These tournaments delivered new champions, record-breaking matches, and unforgettable sporting moments.
EMF Champions League: Birbasha Baku Claim First-Ever Title
Azerbaijani side Birbasha Baku lifted the European club crown for the first time in their history. In the final, they defeated BKMK 2–1. Baku struck early, their opponents equalized, but the decisive goal once again came from the team from Azerbaijan. The trophy now travels to the nation’s capital.
In the third-place playoff, Spanish team Ortega Twins FC from Málaga edged FC Anderzit after a penalty shootout.

EMF EuroCup: Historic Success for Dadi Gradnja
The EMF EuroCup featured 28 teams from 13 countries. After 58 matches, the winners were Dadi Gradnja from Montenegro.
In a dramatic final, they faced last year’s champions, Borussia Sibiu of Romania, and triumphed after penalties. With this success, Dadi Gradnja became the first club ever to win both the EMF Champions League and the EMF EuroCup.

EMF EuroCup Masters: Romanian Final, Tazmannschaft’s Breakthrough
The Masters tournament produced an all-Romanian final between Legends Galați and Tazmannschaft.
Legends were aiming to become the first-ever three-time champions, but the decisive moment came in the penalty shootout. Tazmannschaft capitalized on their rivals’ error and secured their first European trophy. Romanian dominance in this category continues, though competition from abroad is steadily rising.

2025: Sofia to Host Europe’s Elite and a New Category
The upcoming season will take place in Bulgaria, with the capital city Sofia hosting the flagship tournaments – the EMF Champions League, EMF EuroCup, and EMF EuroCup Masters.
A major novelty in 2025 will be the launch of the EMF Champions League Women, giving women’s clubs the chance to compete for a European crown.
The first key date is approaching quickly – the group stage draw will be held on September 1. Less than a month later, the battle for new titles begins, promising more drama and clashes between the very best teams in European minifootball.
