The twelve teams of EMF Seniors Champions League have all played two rounds of the group stage on Saturday afternoon.
The audience of EMF Seniors Champions League in Terme Catež saw many goal-filled matches. KMN Meteorplast won both their games 7:0, against Slovakian Galanta and Romanian Mary-Tour Magic. While Slovakia A amazed the audience with an incredible football fiesta at the end of which they defeated FK Bjeljina Republika Srpska 11:1 in the first round.
Other Slovakian team, Slovakia B, won both their first match against Bulgarian Dartanyan Sofia and the second against 1.FC Corrado 3:1. Although Romania’s Liriada Rasnov lost their first-round match 4:5, they won 2:1 in the second round to keep their hopes of progressing alive.
MAV Glissando senior showed true enthusiasm and strength scoring 10 goals in two games, beating FK Bjeljina Republika Srpska and Masterplast.
Mary-Tour Magic and FK Obilić Herceg Novi both still have hope to proceed to the next round from Group A as they both have one win on their accounts.
The last round of EMF Seniors Champions League will start at 10 a.m., Sunday morning. After the group stage finishes, the K.O. stage for the Seniors will be played in the afternoon, where the best 8 teams will be paired by draw and compete against each other.
