Cup Winners Cup in 2013 ToTake Place In Litomyšl

After the Minifootball Championship the Cup Winners Cup is the second largest nationwide tournament in the Czech Republic. Teams can qualify for the tournament out of the league cups, which are played in minifootball associations in the country. This model is similar to that in football with Champions League and Europa League.

Litomyšl will host the Cup of the Winners Cup for this year and takes the baton after Havlovice. The tournament has been held in the Czech Republic since 2006 and is organized for the best teams of the league‘s in regional minifootball associations in the country. What is new for this year, that this time it will be only a one day event, not two days, as it was in the past.

History of the Cup of the Winners Cup in the Czech Republic:

2006 – Jihlava (winner: Union Brdy Příbram)

2007 – Havlovice (winner: DEKO Praha)

2008 – Dobrochov u Prostějova (winner: Dobrochov u Prostějova)

2009 – Měřín (winner: Dobrochov u Prostějova)

2010 – Pardubice (winner: OK Interiér Pardubice)

2011 – Pardubice (winner: MOVA Kadaň)

2012 – Havlovice (winner: AC Everlast Příbram)

2013 – Litomyšl (winner: ?)
