Buckley’s Back

The Irish Minifootball Association is delighted to today announce that Conor Buckley is the skipper of the squad for the forthcoming European 6 a side Championships.

It is the second time that Conor has captained his country – having performed the duty with huge distinction in 2013, during in Ireland’s first foray into European level. Now he is confirmed again for the 2015 event in Croatia.

An IMA Spokesman said: “Conor being back is wonderful news. Not only is he an experienced – and very good – player, but more than that he is a fine influence on the other players in the squad.”

Conor’s first match as skipper will be against Turkey at 9pm at 21st September.
