Western MFLL League resumes matches on the first weekend of April after quite a long break caused by weather conditions.
This situation motivated the League management to make corrections to the tournament calendar of Moscow region.In 2014 in winter period Regional Cups will be held, but Championships will be put on hold.
In the final part of current Championship we will see the most interesting games! Five teams will fight for a Championship, while in the EuroCup zone even more teams are involved!
The very best players in these teams will have the chance to become National team members and go to the miniEURO2013, which will mark the first time Russia has been there
We are happy to congratulate the Kuntsevo team with the victory in district amateur football competitions. It has been a difficult situation for them, with players in the group tournament and losing 0:3 by the end of the first period in elimination match. Despite this Kuntsevo turned the situation into their advantage and managed to continue participating in the tournament.
Having won in semifinals against Krylatskoe, Kuntsevo, met with Troparyevo-Nikulino and in second period was already leading with 4:1.
However their opponents mounted a fine comeback and started using interesting tactical techniques. Substitution of a goal-keeper with a player immediately had its consequences. Second period ended with 4:4. Extra time also did not define a winner. Only after-match penalties were deciding the destiny of the Cup. And Kuntsevo team managed to turn their luck around!
