Azerbaijan spoiled the Slovakian party when they knocked the host nation out of this year’s EMF Euros with a 1-0 win. Kazakhstan were the first team through to the semi finals after a dramatic penalty shootout win against pre tournament favourites, Hungary.

It was a hard game for both teams in quarter finals Slovakia – Azerbaijan. We saw Azerbaijan score the only goal of the game and despite late Slovakian pressure, they couldn’t find a way past their opponents Goalkeeper. It’s never good for a tournament when the home nation go out, but for the Azerbaijani players, they’re in dreamland as they reach their first ever semi final of the EMF Euros.

The Hungarians went into the quarter final game against Kazakhstan as huge favourites but Kazakhstan battled hard and took the lead but conceded late on and the game went to penalties, the first 5 were scored and then the Kazakhs keeper made a great save and the players went wild as they booked their place in the semia.
