Association Soccer has this week unveiled plans to help Cancer Research UK in 2012.
With over 100,000 players playing in its leagues – and the vast majority male – Association Soccer is ideally placed to help Cancer Research.
The Association has long been concerned with community responsibility and have a long history of backing causes which promote health issues
And they have decided to do just that by sending out leaflets to each player highlighting the need to the need to check for testicular cancer on a regular basis.
Association Soccer’s Spokesman Brian Thorn backed the move wholeheartedly and added: “We are delighted to be helping charitable causes are something that are key company ethos and we at Association Soccer will do everything we can to help raise cancer awareness. If it means we can stop just one person from having to go through the misery of cancer then we have done our jobs.”
