Cypriot Minifootball Association had some changes at the association this year. For the first time we have initiated in our leagues 6×6 and 7×7 with the official rules of European Minifootball Federation. Until now Cypriot Minifootball Association had 5×5, and the biggest numbers of our players were college students. From this year in order to grow up the Association with more members and be more competitive at MiniEuro finals, the team that will represent Cyprus will be from the new league of 6×6. More footballers are playing in the leagues of the Association now and from various ages. These tournaments will continue by the Association for the next years, with more success because there is a lot of interest.
New football fields had made agreement with Cypriot Minifootball Association with the latest types of artificial grass. The Association is looking forward to create a standard mini football stadium at the beach that can host the finals of the leagues and also, to have the opportunity to host future events of European Minifootball Federation. The Association is in contact with the mares of all towns in Cyprus.
Cypriot Minifootball Association had also made an agreement with mad4actions.com in order to create profile data for every team and player that plays to our leagues.
By the end of June the 6×6 league will come to an end of all over Cyprus and hopefully at the first week of July the Association will have the winner team that will represent Cyprus at MiniEuro 21-26 of September at Croatia.
