This summer is a special summer for the Greeks who love football! The Greek national football team managed to become one of the best 8 teams of Europe in EURO 2012 and it is a great success if one considers all the factors, such as the size of the country and the small population, the fact that this team remains one of the top teams in Europe during the last 10 years , the economic crisis and the fact that most of the players are very young and not really experienced even if they are really talented.
On the other hand, EURO is just the first part of this “football summer” because another big party will take place in September in Chisinau. And of course we are talking about miniEURO 2012, MOLDOVA. The Greek mini football team will be there and will try again to make the Greek people proud. It will not be so easy because the level of the teams that participate in the finals will be really high and some teams will be really experienced and with larger rosters, however there is nothing that can stop the Greek fans from dreaming! All these factors that existed for the Greek national football team and made their achievement in EURO really great, exist for the Greek national mini football team too: e.g. The crisis will guide the Greek mini football association to a small roster, the age of the players is one of the lowest in miniEURO if not the lowest, etc…
