End of the second day
4 games played, 16 goals scored, and a last gasp penalty miss, it’s been an amazing night of Minifootball inside the Ondrej Nepela Arena.
There were upsets in the first two matches of the evening session, first of all Greece stunned Montenegro with a Angjelo Toska hat trick, and despite a late onslaught from the Montenegrins, which saw the woodwork rattled on numerous occasions, it was the Greeks that hung on for a sensational 3-2 victory, one of their biggest ever wins in Minifootball.
There was another shock when the hosts, Slovakia, found themselves 3-0 down and despite a late rally after Bosnia were reduced to 5 men, the Bosnians steadied the ship and made sure they walked away with all 3 points to the disappointment of the home crowd. The match ended with the tight score 3:2.
England failed to score for the second game running and again fell to a late goal, but Romania fully deserved their victory, they pushed from the first minute to the last to try and win the game.
The last game of the night was an absolute cracker, despite Hungary winning by the odd goal in 5, Slovenia had a penalty in the dying seconds to salvage a point but missed and the Hungarians held on for their first victory of the tournament! The goalkeeper
