The local minifootball leagues in Romania are resuming following the winter break.
All the players and managers are excited about the New Year and all of them are ready to perform at the local level to have the possibility to play in the national tournaments organized in June and July by the Romanian Minifootball Federation.
This year, like in 2012 the winning teams from the local level will play in the regional tournaments for the qualifications in the final phase of National Championship.
Also in June will be organized also the Romanian Minifootball Cup, a competition open to the winner teams of the local cups. And of course the best two teams from National Championship and Romanian Cup will have the possibility for the third time to play in the SuperCup.
At the final of this week the Executive Committee of the Romanian Minifootball Federation decide the cities where all the national tournaments will be held in this year. For 2013 five cities applied to host the national tournaments which represent the best sign of the minifootball development in Romania.
“Like all the players, we are excited about the second round of our local minifootball competitions from where we expect to select the best players for our national team”, said Tibi Lajos, the coach of national minifootball team.
