This historic success could be attributed to Prague minifootball association. After the triumph of the club Akta-Rez Prague, who became Master of the CR in minifootball in 2012, other team from Prague, Borcibalona, was not too far from the top. This sympathetic team in jerseys of the football team from Barcelona won both matches in play off – the quarterfinal and semifinals. Both 1:0. Borcibalona defeated home team Czech Lager Skalice in the quarterfinals, when it scored a goal two minutes before the end from penalty. Borcibalona won against VKF from Pribram 1:0 in the semifinal.
In the finals the team met the other major league club from Pribram – AC Everlast, who finished last season in Super League Pribram in third place. Everlast′s way to the finals was via the previous winner of Winners′ Cup – Mova Kadan with a 4:1 score. Next step was made by Everast Pribram in the semifinal, where it defeated Deko Prague, which was the winner of Winners′ Cup 2007.
But now to the final match. After kicking off to a balanced game, the match became more attractive for spectators after Pribram scored a goal. Both teams played an open game, which led to a number of chances. Pribram made use of an opportunity and scored a second goal – 2:0. Prague scored a goal in second part of game – 2:1. Everlast Pribram did not need much time and, by taking advantage of a mistake of the opponent’s defence, scored a goal – 3:1. It was three minutes before the end and minifootball players from Pribram insured the lead in the Winners′ Cup. Not only for Everlast, but also for the whole city of Pribram it was the first victory in the Winners′ Cup.
