The Turkish Minifootball Championship, called İddaa Rakipbul League, with its 5.000 teams (12 cities) and 60.000 players, is played in 12 cities: Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Manisa, Denizli, Kutahya, Antalya, Eskisehir, Kocaeli, Kayseri, Gazimagusa.
The league is composed by 2 sections: Opening League (3 January – 15 July) and Closing League (8 August – 25 December). The champion-team of the Opening League plays against the champion-team of the Closing League at the end of the December. This match determines the city champion of the year. At the end, (the end of December) city champions plays play-offs to proclaim the champion of Turkey. Last year (2011- 2012 season) the champion-team, Akbal Sk. was from Istanbul.
lddaa Rakipbul League matches are played in the same atmosphere of the champions league. All matches enjoy the assistance of: referee, assistant referee and someone of the staff who takes photos, videos and updates statistics. All the games are followed by the publication of news updates on the website. In the finals there is the custom of fireworks and torches to celebrate the winners, in the cup ceremony, with a fascinating atmosphere and exciting ambiance.
