Ioan Onicas continues as President of the Romanian Minifootball Federation.
Ioan Onicas won the backing to stay on as President of the Romanian Minifootball Federation after the decision of the General Assembly which took place on the 8th of May 2016, in Brasov. He won the elections with 31 to 8 in favour, to his significantly younger opponent, Bogdan Verzea, and he has already presented his plan for the following period.
Ioan Onicas has filled this position for the last two years, after replacing Razvan Burleanu, who took over the leadership of the Romanian Football Federation. Thus, the RMF President has been given 4 more years from the affiliated members to continue the development of this new sports discipline, which was officially recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the beginning of this year.
The RMF board is also composed of Paul Costas, Tiberiu Lajos, Gavrila Vasilescu (Vicepresidents) and Attila Takacs (Secretary General), together with another 24 persons, managing the Regional Directions.
