After an unexpected set back situation is back to normal and Latvian minifootball championship kicks off on 11th of july, that’s a bit later than usual, but now everything is business as usual.
Preparation for MiniEURO2015 is under way and deals are closed with several sponsors for the national team Latvia. ADIDAS was biggest deal as kit and equipment supliers for national team Latvia.
Ainārs Daudziešans Latvian captain:
If we look back at last year’s MiniEuro2014, we consider our first participation in positive light in many ways. Experience we gained in such an amazing tournament is priceless. Participate at MiniEURO and represent your country is a dream come true for every player of our team. We had not experience and didn’t know what to expect. We were very anxious before first game, but as game progressed we became calm and enjoyed every second of the MiniEuro2014. I would like to say many thanks to Montenegro for the wonderful championship and warm welcome we received.
Ģirts Burmistris (Latvian squad player) on MiniEURO2015:
We are thrilled with opportunity to go to Croatia and again play big teams. This time we have three very strong teams in our group C (we think Portugal will be as strong as any big team no matter that they play for the first time) and make it out of the group will be very challenging, but we are looking forward to that.
