The Day of many goals

Czechia and Israel got the evening session underway on Day 3 here in the Slovakian capital, and we may have already witnessed the goal of the tournament after Daniel Klima’s sensational volley.
Despite his wonder strike, it was Pavel Exner, the other goalscorer in the 2-0 win that waltzed off with the MOTM award.

Azerbaijan have yet to concede a goal as they look to win back their European crown, to add to their world title, with an ominous looking 3-0 triumph against an out of sorts Italy, who have yet to score at this year’s EMF Euros.

The game of the tournament and an argument for game of the year, has to be Slovenia v Poland. 11 goals and 11 different goalscorers in this highly entertaining match that left the crowd wanting more.
This match had everything including a sending off for Slovenia, but Poland made it through to the knockouts as the first team with a 100% record from their 3 group matches after their 7-4 victory.

Last game of the night was another game of high drama and tension as Spain and England battled out a 1-1 draw, a result that suited neither team and looks like ensuring both go home at the first hurdle.
England’s Max Pitman, making his international debut at this tournament, was outstanding in the Three Lions goal.

Make sure you join us for all the action from day 4, where every team will know their fate, for some it will be the last 16, for others it will be the long journey back home.
