What is Mini4EU?
Mini4EU is a joint project of the European Minifootball Federation and the European Commissions’ Erasmus+ program. The project’s objective is to promote minifootball as health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA), and through sport for all activity to achieve social inclusion goals.
The preliminary stage will take place in dozens of cities across Europe. Each city will send a team to represent it in the Mini4EU festival finals in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.
The pan-European preliminary stages in cities across Europe will take place between July 23rd and August 31st 2018.
The Mini4EU festival finals in Székesfehérvár, Hungary will take place in September 20th-30th 2018.
What competitions will be in the Mini4EU festival finals?
There will be 4 categories of competitions and preliminary events:
- Mini4EU Cities Cup – The main event for 16+ men
- Mini4EU Women Cities Cup – For 16+ women
- Mini4EU U23 Cities Cup – The junior event for U23 men
- Mini4EU Cities Challenged Cup – Competition for mentally challenged
Who can participate?
Organizations who wish to organize a preliminary event and to send a team to Mini4EU festival finals must be registered as non-profit organizations, to have a partnership agreement with a municipality or local authority and to affiliate to the EMF. For registration and more info – click here.
